Jason Schulz began his creative journey behind the lens as a photographer, developing a sharp eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling through still images. His work spans portraiture, landscapes, and editorial projects, laying the foundation for his filmmaking. Based in Los Angeles, Jason earned a B.A. in Communications and Film from California State University, Fullerton, where he explored his skills in visual storytelling. In addition to photography, he  directs and produces music videos and commercials and received critical acclaim for his short film Les Bouffons, which earned him the Producers Guild of America Fellowship Award. Jason is best known for Empire Queen: The Golden Age of Magic, a fantasy adventure film that highlights his signature blend of rich visuals and imaginative narrative. Deeply rooted in his Swedish heritage, he divides his time between Los Angeles and Stockholm, drawing creative inspiration from both environments.
